
The West Windsor, Vermont real estate market had a very strong first half of 2019 with ten (10) sales of single-family homes, down slightly from the same period in 2018, which saw twelve (12) sales. As of this writing there were an additional nine (9) properties active under contract and set to close in the coming months – most likely in the third quarter. With those properties and the addition of several others closing during the third and fourth quarter, the market is on track to set a new record in terms of number of sales.
As of July 1, there were twenty-one (21) properties actively listed for sale, up from sixteen (16) on the same date last year. But inventory is still way down compared to the high of 2015 when there were forty-two (42) homes on the market. Those homes that were actively listed on July of this year were on the market for an average of 5 months, down from 7 months in 2018.
