The pace of sales of single-family homes in the Quechee, Vermont real estate market has picked up substantially since the sluggish first quarter. Specifically, there were twenty-seven (27) sales of single-family homes during the first half of this year, perfectly matching the record that was set in 2018 for the most sales in any given 1H for the market. Homes that sold during 1H 2019 were on the market for an average of 185 days before selling, down from 238 days for the same period of 2018.
As of this writing there were nine (9) homes active under contract or pending, likely to close in the third quarter of this year.
Condominium sales were also very solid in 1H 2019. There were twenty (20) sales of condos compared to eighteen (18) during the same period last year.
