
The Hartland, Vermont real estate market saw twenty-two (22) sales of single-family homes in the first three quarters of 2018, down 39% compared to the same period in 2017, which saw thirty-six (36) sales. It is important to keep in mind, however, that 2017 was the greatest single year on record for the Hartland VT real estate market and likely an exception to the norm. In comparison to the number of sales that transpired during the first three quarters of 2016, which was quite a good year historically in terms of sales, the market is hardly down at all. Another positive sign is that as of July 1 there were nine (9) properties active under contract or pending and set to close in the coming months.
