Barnard VT Real Estate Market Report - First Half, 2018

 

The Barnard, Vermont real estate market saw seven (7) sales of single-family homes in the first half of 2018, down slightly compared to the first half of 2017, which saw ten (10) sales.  Currently there are five (5) properties under contract and set to close in the coming months.  Should all five properties close plus the addition of several more, the Barnard VT real estate market will be on track for a year that is similar to 2017 in terms of sales. 

 

With regards to luxury properties that are listed for $1 million and over, there has been one (1) sale in the first half that closed for $1.3 million, and there is currently one listed for just under $1.4 million that is now under contract – demonstrating that there is continued buying activity in the luxury market.
