
The Reading, Vermont real estate market had an exceptional, record-breaking first quarter with six (6) sales of single-family homes, up 50% from 2017, which saw four (4) sales. Additionally, as of April 1st there were five (5) properties active under contract or pending. Most of those properties, as well as several more, will close in the coming months during the second quarter. This means that the Reading real estate market will have had more sales by the halfway point of 2018 than any other full year on record. At this point, it would take a very serious stock market adjustment or large national/worldwide crisis to prevent Reading VT real estate market from having an outstanding year.
