Real Estate Market Report for West Windsor - 2017 in Review

 

The West Windsor, Vermont real estate market had a good year in 2017.  Two luxury properties sold/closed in West Windsor for over $1 million in 2017.  In terms of number of sales, at 19 sales for 2017, the market is near an all time high.  The chart below shows historical sales of single-family homes in Reading from 2004 through 2017.  

 

 

The next chart shows the historical average negotiating discount (the percentage a house sold versus the last list price) in West Windsor covering the same period of time.  The average negotiating discount fell to 4.6% in 2017, an all-time low for the market and an indication that sellers may have more leeway as to how much they want to give up during a negotiation.
